Max and Britt are engaged!!!
A few weeks ago, Max contacted me about shooting his surprise proposal to Britt. I was so excited when he asked me since I have gotten to know both of them through doing so many weddings out at Gin Creek. Max is a photographer himself so naturally we have talked allot about photography. Britt is an incredible person! She is literally the kind of person that lights up the room! She is just so sweet and fun to talk to. We have all been joking with max for the longest time about getting her a ring. So now we had to pull off her not being suspicious of me being there. I had mentioned a while back that I would love to do some couple photos of them for my portfolio. I had been wanting to play around with my external flash. So I asked her If I could take pictures of her and Max on Sunday and she agreed. All week she kept stating that they weren't really engaged though! That was about to change. Sunday we went out to the Gin Creek Vineyards to start the photo session. Finally we got to the pergola, and Max pulled out the ring and asked "Britt will you marry me?" Soon after he called the family that was nearby and they all came over to congratulate them! The family planned a wonderful lunch back at the galleria and had a cake and everything! The first few photos were from before he proposed. She had no idea what was about to happen!!!
Pulling the ring out of his back pocket.
she look like she knows he's up to something.
It clicks
Britt, will you marry me?
Yes!

Katie Jo and Frank's Engagment :: Thomasville, Ga Photographer
When I first met Katie Jo she expressed that she wanted her engagement photos to be classy and simple. Nothing over the top or all over each other! lol
I think we were able to accomplish that! Taking pictures wasn't exactly Frank's favorite pastime but he hung in there with us and we got some good shots! Here are just a few of my favs!
